The Amiq Wetland is Lebanon’s most significant remaining natural freshwater site, a remnant of much more extensive marshes and lakes that once existed in the Middle East. More than 300 different bird species, migrate through Lebanon and stay in Amiq Wetland, a heaven to feed and rest.
