Global Birding and eBird for Global Bird Weekend

Joining forces with Global Birding and eBird for Global Bird Weekend, we’re taking part in the annual celebration of birds. No matter where you are, you too can be a citizen scientist and collect essential data about the birds around you.

Whether you count 10 or 100 birds, from your garden or favourite reserve, we would love for you to be involved.

You can take part as a team or an individual, just go out birding on 14th October and enjoy a day in nature. Report what you see and hear on eBird and your observations will help scientists better understand global bird populations.
Get involved
Raise awareness by sharing the magic of migration with your friends, family and colleagues
Be a citizen scientist for the day by counting how many species you can see
Fundraise or donate to save birds and bring them back from the brink
