CATWALK ON ARABIAN LEOPARD DAY

Catwalk on Arabian Leopard Day. In 2024, in celebration of the historic declaration by the United Nations, Catwalk will be held on 10 February, which will be the first-ever UN recognized International Day of the Arabian Leopard.

This will be a celebration of this magnificent, yet Critically Endangered, subspecies, and a call to action to address its plight, and the plight of all the Big Cats around the world facing similar threats.

Anytime on February 10th 2024

WHERE

A virtual race, to take place wherever you are. Also look out for organized Catwalks to be announced via our social media.

HOW

Fun, flexible and inclusive, it’s open to everyone of all abilities and can be achieved in the way that best suits you.

HOW DOES CATWALK WORK?

Register your participation for Catwalk 2024 here today. During registration, you will learn about the seven Big Cats, and be asked to dedicate your Catwalk to your favorite Big Cat. This will be your Cat Crew.

On 10th February 2024, it’s time to Catwalk! Participate either on your own or take part in an organized Catwalk.

A Catwalk is either an up-to-7 km walk, or the shorter distance of 700 meters.

The Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL) has released the sixth issue of Al Hima magazine, focusing on the upcoming IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi (October 8–15, 2025), where SPNL will join four key sessions.
