Green Design Competition by by the National Education Platform (NEP) at the Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS)

The Green Design Contest is organized by the National Education Platform (NEP) at the Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) in partnership with Go Green (GG), Society for The Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL), and Association for Forest, Development, and Conservation (AFDC). This Contest aims to promote social responsibility among the youth at a very young age, raise awareness on different ecological issues, drive our youth to become part of the team to achieve the SDGs, and educate them on different social and environmental issues through their creativity.

Art has the power to evoke emotions and inspire change, so translate your passion for a better world into art and use your unique perspective to illuminate the path toward a more sustainable future. By participating, you contribute to a collective effort to raise awareness about the urgent challenges addressed by the UN SDGs.

Al Hima Magazine 5th Issue

This edition of Al Hima magazine weaves together inspiring stories of nature conservation and community resilience, highlighting how Lebanon is being stitched back to life—one Hima at a time. The Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL) continues its mission to preserve the country’s natural heritage by empowering local communities. A cornerstone of this effort is the BioConnect project, funded by the European Union, which has achieved three national firsts: Lebanon’s first natural park (Upper Matn), first geological park (Shouf-Jezzine), and first endowment Hima (Btekhnay).
