Special edition of On The Move at IUCN’s Congress in Hawaii

We’re very happy to announce that a special edition of On The Move will be presented at IUCN’s World Conservation Congress in Hawaii from the 2nd – 10th September – featuring beautiful photography from celebrated photographers: Asaad Saleh, Lebanon; Baris Koca, Turkey; Gema Arrugaeta, Spain; Stamos Abatis, Greece; Wassim Ghozlani, Tunisia; and Younes Tazi, Morocco.

Preparations are underway, and the MCNC team is hard at work to bring this unique travelling photography exhibition to new audiences.

Al Hima Magazine 6th Issue

The Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL) has released the sixth issue of Al Hima magazine, focusing on the upcoming IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi (October 8–15, 2025), where SPNL will join four key sessions. The issue features an exclusive interview with IUCN President Razan Al Mubarak, who emphasizes aligning IUCN’s work with global biodiversity agendas, governance, member responsiveness, multilateral engagement, ethical use of technology, and amplifying diverse voices.
