The M6 ‘Cultural Landscapes’ Steering Committee Meeting (10-14 February 2020) was held in the framework of MAVA M6 partnership on Mediterranean Cultural Landscapes. The goal of the meeting was to conclude the Mid Term Evaluation process and set the groundwork for the design of phase 2 (2020-2022). 35 partners from 19 organisations met in the island of Lemnos in Greece for five days of collaborative work, combined with field trips.
The Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL) has released the sixth issue of Al Hima magazine, focusing on the upcoming IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi (October 8–15, 2025), where SPNL will join four key sessions. The issue features an exclusive interview with IUCN President Razan Al Mubarak, who emphasizes aligning IUCN’s work with global biodiversity agendas, governance, member responsiveness, multilateral engagement, ethical use of technology, and amplifying diverse voices.
