Learning to lead during times of uncertainty

January 21, 2021, marked the end-of-year graduation for cohort 3.of MAVA Leaders for Nature Academy, by which, Ms. Jamal Hamzeh, the Mount Lebanon Hima Center – MLHC manager and a senior project manager at SPNL has successfully completed the one-year leadership programme.

MAVA Leaders for Nature Academy is a leadership development programme for professionals from partner organizations of the MAVA, Fondation pour la Nature. It brings together two generations of leaders – senior and young professionals.

The programme is delivered by Common Purpose and Mowgli Mentoring who are recognised and applauded experts in their respective fields, leadership development, and mentoring.

Launched in March 2018, the Academy aims to develop leaders who can bring about positive change both within and across partner organizations to increase their sustainability and impact.

Al Hima Magazine 7h Issue

The Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon, SPNL, has officially released the seventh issue of Al Hima magazine, reaffirming its commitment to advancing community-led conservation and positioning Lebanon as a regional leader in nature-based solutions.
This latest edition comes at a critical moment for environmental action in Lebanon and the wider region, bringing together scientific insight, traditional knowledge, and global perspectives under the unifying theme: “From Ridge to Coast, One Hima at a Time.”
