Seeking Short-Term Consultancy Services for a Travelling Biodiversity Exhibition

Overview

The Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL) is seeking experienced consultants or organizations to provide specialized services within a limited timeframe for the implementation of a Travelling Biodiversity Exhibition. This initiative aims to raise public awareness on biodiversity conservation across multiple municipalities in Lebanon.

Scope of Work

The consultant will be responsible for:
Designing and executing a dynamic, interactive Travelling Exhibition
✅ Developing standardized exhibition materials (banners, brochures, digital content)
✅ Integrating interactive elements (multimedia displays, quizzes, hands-on activities)
✅ Organizing and managing 10 key events across various municipalities
✅ Coordinating with local stakeholders, municipalities, and Homat Al Hima youth
✅ Ensuring media visibility and producing an impact assessment report

Consultancy Duration

📅 Start Date: Mid-March 2025
📅 Completion Deadline: End of August 2025
📅 Events Held Bi-Weekly (March – July 2025)

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

✔ Proven expertise in biodiversity conservation & environmental education
✔ Experience in awareness campaigns & public engagement
✔ Strong exhibition and content design capabilities
✔ Demonstrated logistics & event management experience
✔ Effective stakeholder coordination & communication skills

A selection committee will evaluate proposals based on technical merit and financial feasibility. The selected consultant must be flexible to accommodate schedule adjustments due to security, weather, or municipal constraints and should work closely with SPNL for seamless coordination.

This latest edition comes at a critical moment for environmental action in Lebanon and the wider region, bringing together scientific insight, traditional knowledge, and global perspectives under the unifying theme: “From Ridge to Coast, One Hima at a Time.”
