Dear ColleaguesOver the last few months, the Birdlife Secretariat has been working closely with a diverse group of civil society humanitarian and conservation organisations to advance our collective ambition for the recognition of the right to a healthy environment.The group has written a letter to be sent to the Human Rights Council calling for the recognition of the human right of all to a safe, clean, healthy and sustainable environment. This will be sent on the 10th September ahead of the next UN Human Rights Council session from 14th September- 6th October.BirdLife International has signed the letter and will be advocating and communicating the messaging aligned with our 1planet1right campaign.
