Second training on how to compost farm animal manure

As part of a micro-project funded by TDV, AFD, and FFEM, SPNL organized a training session for farmers on how to compost farm animal manure to kill weed seeds and pathogens so that the resulting compost can be used safely as a natural soil amendment to grow crops in a nature-friendly way.
The session was conducted on Saturday 25th of July in HHIC center in West Beqaa.
This training session is the second session in a series of four, with two more to be held soon. It was attended by ten farmers from the area and social distancing rules were respected.
