Under the IUCN project “Nurturing NGO Capacity to Engage in Biodiversity Conservation in the Eastern Mediterranean” funded by MAVA, a two-day mentoring program was held at SPNL moderated by Dr. Jose Tavares. The two days focused on tackling institutional issues that would help SPNL move forward while being better organized with clear strategic plans for better results and efficient outcomes. The main issues addressed were establishing a strategic plan for SPNL, financial management, and volunteering.
The Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL) has released the sixth issue of Al Hima magazine, focusing on the upcoming IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi (October 8–15, 2025), where SPNL will join four key sessions.
