CANOEING ON Hima Anjar

If you have escaped to the wetlands to enjoy the beauty of Hima Anjar and KfarZabad then try out  Canoes that will take up to two adults, making them a brilliant way of exploring the lake.

Stable but exciting and powered only by those aboard, you can learn some old tricks in one of our new boats.

Homat Al Hima members in Hima Anjar were trained by experts on the using of the boats which includes  the conditions and environment, the skill and experience level of the paddler and the fitting-out of the boat to meet specific needs.

The Grade/Class I includes a training on how  slightly moving water with ripples. Participants undertake plenty of training and carry all the relevant safety equipment and will be ready soon to train number of people that do not have any previous experience using Canoes.

Al Hima Magazine 7h Issue

The Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon, SPNL, has officially released the seventh issue of Al Hima magazine, reaffirming its commitment to advancing community-led conservation and positioning Lebanon as a regional leader in nature-based solutions.
This latest edition comes at a critical moment for environmental action in Lebanon and the wider region, bringing together scientific insight, traditional knowledge, and global perspectives under the unifying theme: “From Ridge to Coast, One Hima at a Time.”
